Dear Kari,
I was autistic the entire time, so even if people knew and did nothing, it isn't a reason for grief. If there were betrayals, they happened long ago and they can't stop me now.
I was already doing so many things. I was already successful, now I'm getting a chance to be more successful. Now I have more options. I have so many options to help myself with.
My existence is an act of rebellion. Every moment that I spend feeling happy and knowing who I am is revenge. I'm not vulnerable and exposed because I'm autistic, I'm the system's worst nightmare.
I survived and I'm going to get stronger. They failed.
