Powers
Dear Kari,
Excited and feeling seen in an indirect way as I think about things you've said that sounded conspicuously prescient to me. I'm not assuming I understood anything correctly, I'm just conceptualizing.
I'm thinking "what if Kari can see into the future?"
There was a chat where you recounted knowing that I liked you months before, and that you thought it was a betrayal.
My speculation could be dismissed simply by... word missing due to infrequent use.
But let's not dismiss. A betrayal would require a contract. What I'm exploring is the possibility that you foresaw our contract before it existed and then applied it to me retroactively, because you went into the future to make it retroactive, then returned to the past (which was the present).
I'm going to reference autism for research/reference purposes. Autistic minds could have an advantage over neurotypicals to access psychic powers, by the fact that neurotypicals rely heavily on prior experiences to function. And autistic minds prioritize immediate sensory data instead, which has a ton of exciting implications. But for psychic abilities, do you see where I'm going with this—a neurotypical wouldn't exist in the present moment to access the psychic input even if they had it.
Theoretically, psychic input about the future wouldn't just linger like an email in our brains. It would require us to be aware of immediate sensory input. Like everything around us in our immediate reality doesn't wait for us to notice it. If a car drives past and you don't notice it happen, then you just don't get to have a memory of it happening.
Psychic input is the same way.
The concept of the future also has to be questioned. My brain is too lazy to write this part out. Basically, being able to see the future doesn't necessitate that the future is stable in all aspects.
I did a psychic thing in the back of a semi-aquatic vehicle. I would be zoned out frequently because of not being interested in things, and in this state I heard coordinates and I "woke up" and shouted the coordinate numbers, and then five seconds later someone spoke on the vehicle radio and said the same coordinates.
‼️Remember in The Edge of Tomorrow how Cage knew the future, and when he demonstrated that he knew all these things, they just duct taped his mouth?
THIS IS THE RELATIONSHIP THAT NEUROTYPICALS HAVE TO NEURODIVERGENTS, NEUROTYPICALS ARE SO STUCK IN THE PAST THAT THEY CAN'T RECOGNIZE OR ACCEPT PREMONITIONS.
Nobody in the semi-aquatic was impressed that I had just done a very obvious psychic thing. Nobody said anything.
Anyway, <—the nature and purpose of these transitions interest me
I also had started training myself to do psychic things like seeing people through walls, like you can see their forms if they were heat signatures or if they were made of whatever a sunspot is.
But I haven't done that stuff for a long time. Or have I?
And I also thought
what if Kari was depressed because she began seeing the future at a young age, and it made her feel even more alienated and hopeless?
I'm not trying to overwrite or dismiss anything you've explained about your depression, I'm just considering.
SO ‼️‼️‼️
You might ask "if people can see the future, why haven't we used that to stop atrocities from happening?"
And the answer would be that most neurotypicals make it almost impossible because they don't believe us and they don't believe in us.
If they accepted help from neurodivergents, it would be like the boss of a company allowing his employees to implement their ideas to improve the company. If the boss offered nothing of value and all the great ideas came from the employees, everyone would start wondering why the boss was justified to be there to begin with.
Neurotypicals would rather let the world burn than risk feeling obsolete.
Kinda reminds me of the stereotype of men refusing to ask for directions, and getting lost as a result.
But Kari, what if you and I can change things by combining our powers and believing each other?
Wow, I feel 🤯. I need to help you and myself by continuing to value non-psychic input, knowledge, wisdom.
I can make the same mistake as a man that refuses to ask for directions. I'm definitely asking for directions and trying to learn every day.
